Point-of-use filtration

Under-sink filters: match the technology to the contaminant.

Carbon is fast, simple and waste-free. Reverse osmosis is broader but more complex. The right choice depends on what is actually in your water and which exact reduction claims are certified.

EPA guidance

Certification matters more than the filter label.

For PFAS, EPA recommends looking for NSF/ANSI 53 or 58 certification for PFAS reduction. For lead, EPA recommends certified point-of-use filters evaluated for lead reduction. Do not assume every carbon or RO product has the same certified claims.
