Quick take

Before assuming the system is defective, confirm feed pressure, filter age, flushing, drain routing and membrane performance. Persistent problems after those checks justify support or replacement.

Low or inconsistent flow

Low feed pressure, loaded filters or a restricted faucet path can reduce output. Compare current flow with the unit when filters were new.

High TDS after RO

A sudden rise in permeate TDS can indicate membrane wear, installation error or a flushing issue. Use feed and product TDS together to estimate rejection rather than reading one number in isolation.

Frequent draining or flushing

Automatic flushing is normal, but nonstop drain flow is not. Check installation, drain connection and whether the unit is entering repeated flush cycles.
