The biggest difference is how clearly the certification story is documented
Waterdrop explicitly states that the G3P800 system is certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 58 for the reduction claims specified on its performance data sheet, plus NSF/ANSI 372 for low lead. That does not mean it removes every contaminant people associate with those standards; the exact claim list still matters. But it is a stronger starting point than a generic standards badge.
