Measure static and flowing pressure first. Size the pump to the required flow and head, then install with the manufacturer-required valves, electrical protection and dry-run safeguards.
Diagnose before installing
Low pressure after a new whole-house filter can be a restriction problem, not a pump problem. Test pressure before and after treatment equipment before adding a booster.
Size by operating point
The pump must deliver the required household flow at the pressure increase you actually need. Maximum flow at zero head is not a useful sizing number by itself.
Follow valve and check-valve requirements
Integrated systems such as DAB Esybox include controls and non-return functions, but installation still needs isolation and service access.
Electrical and noise considerations
Variable-speed boosters require power and should be mounted where vibration will not transfer into living spaces.
