Camplux Electric Tankless Water Heater Review 2026

Camplux is best known for outdoor and gas water heaters, but its electric tankless range creates a useful alternative to ThermoMate for residential buyers.

Quick take

Camplux is strongest when buyers want a broad heater ecosystem and multiple power sizes. As with every electric tankless heater, electrical capacity and winter temperature rise matter more than brand name.

Current electric lineup

Camplux currently lists 14 kW, 18 kW, 24 kW and higher-output electric tankless models in its residential lineup. Current U.S. prices show roughly $288 for 14 kW, $420 for 18 kW and $480 for 24 kW.

The company also sells gas, RV and portable hot-water products, which gives it broader product coverage than a pure electric specialist.

How to size Camplux

Start with the coldest expected inlet-water temperature and the simultaneous fixture demand. A shower plus a kitchen faucet may require two to four gallons per minute, but the actual heater output depends on the temperature rise.

Do not choose by bathroom count alone.
